  1. Data Collected

2.1 Data Collected Automatically
Certain data is automatically collected when using the Notaforte app, in particular through Apple and third-party services:

  • Technical data: device identifier, iOS version…
  • Advertising identifiers: for services such as Facebook/Meta, Google, Apple Search Ads.
  • Download and payment data: managed directly by Apple.
This data is anonymized or aggregated for Bravenbird and does not directly identify any user.

2.2 Use of Microphone and Audio Data
The Notaforte app includes two features requiring access to the microphone:

  • Note name recognition (via Apple Speech API):
If the user activates this option, the app uses Apple’s speech recognition API.
Voice data is sent to Apple for processing and improvement of their services.
Explicit consent is requested via an Apple pop-up before any use.
Bravenbird has no access to the voice recordings.
  • Pitch recognition (via AudioKit API):
This feature analyzes only the sound frequency of notes played or sung.
Processing is done locally on the device.
No audio data is stored or transmitted to Bravenbird or third parties.
